I do not know where to begin to tell you what a spectacular time was had aboard the newest addition to the Strike Zone fleet, that 36'Twin Vee is one awesome fishing machine. After 3 cancelled trips due to weather our 2 days of fishing finally came thur/friday. Left the Venice Marina promptly @ 6:00am and made the run to the tuna grounds, but before getting there we found a perfect 10 of a rip and started trolling, 2 hours later we had an even dozen Wahoo on board and 1 bull Dolphin after discussing our options with Capt's LANCE and Shane we decided to make the long run to a drill ship.We slow trolled livies there with only 1 Bull Dolphin for our efforts. Earlier in the day we told LANCE and Shane we only wanted 1 tuna and it was already 5:oopm and we were still 65 miles offshore. We ran to one more rig on the way in to slow troll livies, the first bait was in the water less than 5 minutes and wham! fish on I took the rod and it was a big fish I fought him for about 20 minutes then when we saw it, it was an 8' Shark!....(released) Livies back out.Less than 5 minutes later wham! fish on! the brothers Camardelle tag teamed a 70lb yellow fin it was 6:45pm time to go!!!!Arrived back at the Venice Marina @ 9:15pm.
Day 2
Left promptly @ 6:00am back to the same Rip and stayed there all day with 19 Wahoo and 5 Bulls to show for our efforts. There were 2 highlights of this Day, the first was when we stopped at this mat loaded with Dolpin an were having no problem catching the smaller ones, but there were a half dozen bulls hanging around that we kept breaking off our spinning tackle.
Capt Bill Delabar(Sp?)pulls up and proceeds to get in the water with his snorkeling gear and shoots 1 of the bulls with his spear gun!How Cool!!!
I finally get another one of the bulls to take my offering on my Penn Spinner and after an awesome acrobatic display
Capt LANCE Gaffs this tasty denizen of the deep and hauls him aboard.
Highlight #2
Pull up to another mat to chum up more Mahi. As soon as we pull up and start chumming an est 150lb YFT shows up in our slick. Capt LANCE literally jumped from the flybridge to the deck in the excitement to try and hook this monster. The only outfit that was semi ready for a fish of this caliber was a 50t with 60 lb mono. After ole yeller leisurely eats a couple pieces of chum,he inhales LANCE's offering and fish on!! He runs under the boat and the lines part........Oh well, thats just another incredible day in Venice.
If you want to fish in Venice fish with fish commander fishing charters. They work hard and Fish Longer. Thanks to LANCE and Shane for making this such a cool adventure.

BZ N.O., LA USA

Went out in search of Marlin with Capt LANCE Walker And Chris Dinwiddie On the Cabo for fish commander guide service on monday with my 6 year old son David. Ended up with About 7 wahoo and 8 dorado and one sunburn(my back).

He/we had a great time and the crew was great with David and very professional,on time, and helpful. The little guy reeled in a small Wahoo & a Mahi Mahi (big compared to him) with the rod in the holder.He even took a afternoon nap on the floor of the tuna tower in between LANCE's legs.

We trolled a beautiful rip with perfect conditions from the 93 block east to 5-10 miles south of Lena ,and BP 109. We had steady action on small Wahoo and Dorado and one midday lull.

As I reeled in a wahoo a 400-500 pd Blue Marlin followed him to the Transom. what a sight! But we weren't ready for him, and he was brownish/ not lit up. I thought is was a shark for a second. Later on Another Blue Marlin Charged thru the spread from the side from under a grass patch but that is all we saw of him.

If I were more computer friendly I would attach some nice pictures.

I'll be back as now I have been bitten by the Marlin bug ,and I still suffer From Chronic Yellowfin fever.

Good Luck To All <~)>>{
