Louisiana charter fishing

| Another successful weekend at the lumps! As I arrived to Venice on Thursday, there was high hopes for the weekend. Capt. John Teal, had a boat full of Tuna. The next morning, I prepared the Glacier Bay for my fishing trip with my friends from Mississippi. The day started out with intense fog, but we managed with radar just fine. Our trip consisted of a few black fin, and three yelow fin that we never managed to get in the boat. Thanks guy's I had a real good time. On Saturday's trip, my guy's from Flordia were waiting at the dock's with their ice chests ready to go! When we made it to the lumps everything got real interesting real fast. The first yellow fin we had on unfortunatly popped the line. But with hard work the next two made it in the boat. We also managed to land several black fin, amber jack, and a 300lb. Hammer Head shark. COngratulations again guy's on your 100+lb. yellow fin. Sunday's trip topped the weekend off. The guy's from LA brought the luck we needed. The day started off with a great catch, 12 black fin. But we wanted yellow fin!! So we pulled anchor and moved locations. Within 15 min. we had three yellow fin hooked up weighing over 150 lbs. a piece. Two hours later, we landed the biggest of the three weighing around 170lb. The fight we had with these fish took so long that we had to run in at night. |
