charter fishing

| Just got back in from another weekend of fishing. Saturday's conditions with high winds and rough seas made it tough fishing. We headed straight out to blue water and dropped the lines. We trolled for several miles before the conditions were right. The bite was quick but we had action all day. One 68 pound wahoo a few dolphin and four different Blue Marlin jumped near the boat during the day. We stopped on the way in and caught a few Amberjack on the way in. Sunday our customers canceled, but Monday I was out chasing the Lady in Blue again. We stopped twice on the way out, to catch live bait and batlle in a limit of nice Amberjack. Our next stop produced a nice yellowfin tuna and along battle with another one before pulling the hook. We ventured back to the rip line and the mats of grass were 50 yds. wide. The grass was really scateredon the blue side but formed up nicely on the north side. With the water temperature the same on the other side and a clear green-blue look we put the baits back out. Right away we caught a 50lb. wahoo, a 40lb. wahoo and then the excitement started. A 400lb. Blue Marlin hit the flat line 20ft. behind the boat. It took off taking out almost the entire spool of line. As we backed down at over 8 knots, we slowly got the fish up to the boat. My first mate Leon Norris had finally gotten his hand on a Blue Marlin. He grabbed the bill, we took a role of pictures and watched as the fish swam off. Great job Leon and congradulation guys on your 400lb. Blue Marlin. The fishing has been great I'm looking forward to another great summer.
