Just got through fishing with LANCE Walker for 5 days out of Grand Isle. The first trip was last Saturday and Sunday on an overnighter. Went 110 miles out in nice weather. We ended up with 11 yellowfin ranging from 50 to 100, too many blackfin to count, 1 bull dolphin around 35, limit of AJ's, and 1 cobia around 40. Went back out on Wednesday on a day trip with my 2 boss's and their son's in terrible weather. Fished in 6 ft seas till lunch and couldnt take much more, ended up with a nice limit of snapper in the 12 pound range, 1 cobia, and a couple of AJ's. Had our Kentucky group in for Friday and Saturday, we made a quick snapper trip out Friday leaving the dock at 4 and back at 8 with a limit of snapper, 1 grouper and 2 cobia in the 40 pound range. Saturday was a great day with wonderful weather. We stopped and caught our Snapper before 10 with the biggest 2 weighing 27 and 33.7! We also added 2 more big cobia. Headed farther south around lunch after picking up our limit of AJ's. Finally found the rip about 70 miles out. We added several nice dolphin, 1 wahoo and had 1 marlin chase chicken dolphin right up under our boat. Tried him for several hours but no luck. He did come back by about an hour later chasing hardtails in the same area. Great week on the water with LANCE. He is booked this whole week but has some opening's starting next week. LANCE can be reached at 225 445 1005 or www.fishcommander.com Also special thanks to Renee who runs LANCEs boat on some trips, These guys never stop working! I have attached the pics of the marlin under the boat and the 33.7 pound snapper
