captain Andy Cook
On sunday Capt. LANCE Walker invited me to work with hime out of Fourchon. I have to say it was nothing but pleasant. After lump season its nice to hardly see any other boats competing with you for the same spots. I know Venice has its advantages, but Fourchon also has its benefits. We started out early with five repeat customers who were forunate enough to slam the wahoo earlierin the month. This trip was equally impressive. Capt. LANCE really proved to me that all the hype is deserved. We caught 3 huge grouper, which two had to be released. The fight made it all worth it. The snapper action was nonstop at least 10 over 20 pounds. The capt. insisted on fishing mangroves early which made for a great catch at the end of the day. The ling were with us all day as well. I have to say a good day for anyone standards. As for which is better, Venice of Fourchon? Who knows, all I know Fourchon has less pressure; which always a good thing. Oh yeah, when we returned we had a spot to clean fish. You can book a trip with Capt. LANCE Walker through www.fishcommander.com
